Hi folks,

Recently I had the opportunity to speak with Kristen, a competitive slowpitch softball player that has logged +500 plate appearances in Mashlytics.

But when I looked at her account, I noticed that a few screens loaded slowly. Someone tracking hundreds plate appearances in a single year was only a dream when I launched Mashlytics. But today that dream is realized every week as new users join Mashlytics to track their baseball and softball stats. And Mashlytics needs to be fast, especially for super users like Kristen.

Simply put: speed is a killer feature, whether you’re running the bases or building a stat tracking app.

So I recently invested time into making Mashlytics even faster. More speed is on the way, but I wanted to share the initial gains with everyone. With this release, even for users with hundreds of plate appearances logged, every screen should load in under one second.
