The Stats > Advanced tab now shows Walk, Hit By Pitch, and Strikeout Totals. Tap into each stat to see more details like Intentional vs. Unintentional Walks and Swinging vs. Looking Strikeouts.

Hi everyone,

Fresh off the announcement of Advanced Batting Stats, I wanted to roll out a small but important update with new stat totals.

At-bat stat totals — Stats > Advanced screen now has Walk, Hit By Pitch, and Strikeout totals

New: BB, HBP, and SO Totals

In addition to seeing your totals for 1B, 2B, 3B, and HR, the Advanced Stats screen now has your totals for Walks, Hit By Pitch, and Strikeouts.

Strikeout stat breakdown — Strikeouts > Advanced shows the breakdown between Swinging vs. Looking strikeouts

Using All of the Outcome Options

To take full advantage of this new feature, when logging a plate appearance make sure you’re using the Outcome > View All option. Expanding this view will give you mroe detailed options, including:

Strikeout (Looking)
Walk (Intentional)
Home Run (Inside the Park)
… and more advanced outcome options

You will get more accurate and insightful stats by using these more specific logging options.
