Batting average is calculated by dividing the player's hits by their at bats.
What do you need to know about Batting Average?
Batting Average is a very simple metric. It will tell you directionally how a player is hitting, but there are cases and nuances it does not account for. On-Base Percentage is just as easy to calculate, but provides more insight about the hitter’s performance.
Batting Average in Mashlytics
Batting Average is shown on the Home screen and under Stats. In the Stats section, you can see a detailed view of Batting Average including a graph of Batting Average over time.
